Our Biosac® caddy bin liner and sack range are made from corn starch and plant extracts, and carry the HOME compostable seedling logo – approved for use with council food waste recycling schemes.
Our Biosac® caddy bin liners are certified compostable and biodegradable by the European standard for packaging; EN 13432. The material is easily compostable and biodegradable to water, CO2 and residual organic carbon, leaving no harmful residues. Within 14 days the bag should degrade down by 55% and 97% after 45 days if disposed of in the correct condition, so you can be confident they will decompose in homes or industrial composting facilities.
